Вереск обыкновенный "Callu Nova Kirschrot" – это зимостойкий кустарник высотой от 30 до 40 сантиметров с темно-зелеными игловидными листьями. Этот сорт вереска отличается отличной зимостойкостью, что позволяет его выращивать в зонах USDA 1, 2, 3, 4.
Цветение вереска "Callu Nova Kirschrot" обильное, средней фиолетовой гаммы, диаметр цветков составляет от 1 до 10 мм. Цветки однотонные, что придает растению особый шарм.
Для успешного выращивания данного сорта вереска не требуется особенно плодородная почва, почва должна быть дренированной. Влажность почвы также важна – растение предпочитает хорошо дренированную почву с содержанием песка, гумуса, торфа.
Вереск "Callu Nova Kirschrot" предпочитает светлые условия, выращивать его лучше на солнечной местности. Он также предпочитает слегка кислую почву с pH 4,5-6,5, но может выживать и при более кислой почве с pH ниже 4,5.
